John is a native of Michigan and started his comedy career as soon as he was old enough to get into the clubs. His success has not come easy; John made some sacrifices along the way like skipping night classes to perform stand up comedy. John made it through Eastern Michigan and since arriving in California nearly two years ago has found a home in Hollywood.

John recently made his late night television network debut on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show, and all so shot the pilot show for "Last comic Standing" Last year he landed the lead role in the VH-1 sitcom Smash. The show was created by one of John's biggest music idols, Gene Simmons from Kiss. And Most recently filmed his own comedy special for Comedy Central.

Currently, John is developing a pilot based on the popular card game he created with partner Joel Zimmer called That Guy! Card game. The game became an immediate hit when celebrities Julia Roberts, Drew Barrymore and SNL’s Rachel Dratch were spotted buying the game.

John performed at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, HBO/Aspen Comedy Festival and on NBC’s Late Friday and Comedy Centrals Premium Blend. He's now in high demand by the networks and studios and is well on his way to being That Guy who has his own show.
